Simon and Mairi got married at the beautiful Lodge on Loch Lomond and it was amazing. We had the perfect weather – blue, but slightly cloudy skies ( no harsh shadows this time ), fantastic venue, at my favorite location and, what was the most important – they had the funniest, craziest and coolest guests ever, half of them from UK and the other half from the States. I met Simon and Mairi few months ago for their “urban themed” engagement session in Glasgow, and although we only had about about 90 minutes for photographs, they were the most easy going and full of energy people you can imagine. Their engagement photos looked great and I was really looking forward to photograph their wedding. The Lodge on Loch Lomond is a perfect wedding venue with fantastic views over the water – a photographers dream, especially when the weather is as good as it was few weeks ago. I always focus on emotions when I photograph weddings, and, as the day was full of fun and crazy laughs my job couldn’t be easier this time. It was great to watch and photograph Mairi and Simon’s families getting on so well with each other. I loved the fact that a lot guys from America decided to wear kilts and once the ceilidh dancing started…well what can I say…it was wild. I can not be more grateful for the opportunity to photograph such a fantastic wedding – yes, the venue, location and the weather was great, but the reason why I will really remember it, are the fantastic people I had a pleasure to meet
