I met Andrea and Sebastian few days ago for their engagement session and as usual the weather was against me. Our plan was to use the balloons for at least few photos, but the wind was so strong it was impossible to keep them in the near to vertical position, so after a few attempts we decided to change our plans. Well I have to be honest and admit at least it didn’t rain this time. Andrea and Sebastian wanted a Scottish theme to their photos ( she’s American and he’s got Finish roots ) and went for the same kind of tartan – I think it worked amazing. They are both really fantastic people and you get the feeling you’ve known them for years after only few minutes together – they can talk about everything :-). They are full of fun so it was a great engagement session and I really enjoyed it. Needles to say I’m really happy with their photos. We started in Kelvingrove Park in Glasgow and finished at Loch Lomond and it started to rain as we’re going back to the car. Andrea and Sebastian dream about the outdoor wedding, so they decided not to take a chance with the Scottish weather and are getting married in Italy in the middle of the summer next year. They have picked up a lovely venue, with fantastic views over a small lake – a wedding photographer’s dream ( you can see yourself here Villa Degli Angeli. I can’t thank them enough for letting me to be the part of their beautiful journey. As a wedding photographer my biggest worry is to make sure I’ve got everything I need with me when leaving the house ( I always check three times ) – I just have to remember to add the suncream to my “essentials list” on this occasion.
