I’ve never been to Sorrento or Amalfi coast before, so was really looking forward to the trip, even more after few days in beautiful, but overcrowded Rome. I could see why Sophy and Ben, along with hundreds other couples from around the globe choose to get married in this part of Italy, before I even get there. Everything here is simply amazing. The views, the coastline, the hills covered in trees or colorful houses. I fell in love in the place straight away, and was so happy knowing that I will have few days to explore the area after the wedding. Sophy and Ben got married in Villa Antiche Mura. Fantastic venue, run by great people, with amazing views and fantastic food. Their families have been in love with Amalfi Coast for years, so for them there was only one option, they were always getting married in the south of Italy. I could completely understand why. The location was amazing and the weather didn’t disappoint as well. What’s great about destination weddings is that most of the guests are there on short holidays, so you can actually feel how relaxed everyone is. Sophy and Ben’s wedding. apart from the great atmosphere, was also one of the most emotional weddings I have ever been to. I absolutely loved the speeches, and I can still remember the few minutes ovation and everyone going crazy when the best man was about to do his speech. The place was full of amazing people. I felt honored to be there, and it was a real pleasure to work with everyone. I have to say big thank you to Sophy and Ben for having me there, but also to Sophy’s mum, Glenda who got in touch with me first.
You can see their beautiful story below. And if you’re reading this looking for a Sorrento wedding photographer, please get in touch – I love the place and want to come back asap 🙂
