Peak of the wedding season is strange. Non stop travelling, skype meetings, sessions, and weddings of course. It all becomes a blur and stays like this till the season is over and we have time to look back. Yet, there are stories that are different. Once in a lifetime stories. Easy to remember stories. Stories that will stay with us for years to come. I’m not going to lie, when Dylan and Hunter sent me an email to say I’ll be shooting their elopement in Lofoten I was more than excited. It’s no secret that I’m a landscape lover, and Lofoten in Norway have been on my radar for years. So I knew it’s going to be epic. I knew it’s going to be incredibly beautiful. I knew we’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the area as the sun never sets there during the summer. What I didn’t know yet, was that’s I will have a chance to record a journey of two amazing people, who decided to get married 1000s of miles from their home in US. One of the most genuine and kind guys I have ever met, patient enough to cope with all my crazy ideas. There are plenty of amazing landscapes in this post, but it’s not about that. It’s about the marriage of Dylan and Hunter. In a way it’s kind of similar to Lofoten Islands, that against all odds, long winter nights and crazy weather, are simply beautiful. And so is their story.
If like me you love adventure and beautiful landscape check this session on Isle of Skye.
