I had a pleasure to photograph Emma and Mikey’s amazing wedding few weeks ago at the beautiful grounds of Carberry Tower in Edinburgh. I’ve never been to this lovely venue, but I after photographing a wedding in their sister hotel, Plas Rhianfa in Wales, I knew what to expect. And I wasn’t disappointed – everything about Carberry Tower is amazing – the gardens, the hotel, friendly staff and the food, of course :-)
I met Emma and Mikey few months ago for their engagement session – it was so cold, that when we finished my fingers were so numb I could not turn the key in the ignition. Regardless of that Emma and Mikey where always in a good spirit and we had a great day so I was really looking forward to photograph their wedding. And what a day it was. Beautiful weather ( I could get use to summers like that in Scotland ), really friendly people, best speeches ever, some crazy dancing and a bottle of ketchup as a wedding gift – apparently Emma ads ketchup to everything :-)
It was an honour to be there and I can only say a big thank you to Emma and Mikey for letting me to be their wedding photographer. I’m coming back to Carberry Tower for another wedding soon. Can’t wait.

Mark, you have an amazing talent at genuinly capturing a mood. Well done you.

Great work. Nice job covering their day. Love the getting ready photos.
I just spotted ketchup on the table and as a Canadian I approve tremendously. Ridiculously well documented :)
