Isle of Skye wedding photographer - Stephanie and Ian

It feels kind of strange to call myself Isle of Skye wedding photographer, but the truth is I photograph more weddings on Skye than within 50 miles from my house. I have always been drawn to big open spaces and shooting there is like shooting nowhere else in the world. You have no idea what to expect, it’s pointless to check the weather forecast, in fact, quite often bad weather makes for the best photos. That was not the case few months ago when I met Stephanie and Ian, who travelled all the way from Australia, for their adventure in Scotland. Well, at least the rain was not the case. The sky looked like a beautiful pastel painting, but boy, was it cold. Thankfully the beauty of Skye is that you only need few hours and a bit of courage to take some beautiful photos and create some unforgettable memories. You don’t need all day. I can’t obviously wait to get there for those few hours elopements, to shoot, explore or even for long drives from Glasgow.
