Elopement in Scotland - wedding photographer Glen Coe

Malgorzata and Pawel elopement in Scotland was probably the craziest photography adventure I have ever done. Together we faced rain, mud, wind and midges. We went to some amazing locations all over the west cost of the country.  Starting in Loch Lomond, then Rannoch Moor and finishing in Glen Coe. Pawel and Malgorzata got married a few weeks ago in Poland, but since they live in Glasgow we decided to organize the trash the dress session in Scottish Highlands. It was the only time ever that I actually hoped for the rain before photographing. I love how moody, and “Scottish” the images below are. Let’s be honest, Scotland is absolutely beautiful! On my way back home, during the 2hrs drive I was thinking that I could actually spent every weekend photographing couples up north, and no location will look the same. It’s such unique an incredible county, with stunning scenery behind every corner. People come to visit this amazing place from all over the world and it’s so easy to understand why.

So, back to my couple. The bravest couple ever. I was really worried a few times watching them jumping over the shiny rocks, standing in the middle of the freezing water. Thankfully no one was injured during the session, although the dress is not as white anymore. I’d really love to thank them for not complaining once about all my crazy ideas. it was great! Who’s next?
