Langkawi is such a unique and amazing wedding destination. I’ve spent few weeks there, exploring beautiful beaches, small islands and local restaurants. It’s everything the couple wants – if it’s wedding, elopment, or honeymoon – Langkawi has it all. As a photographer I enjoy places and moment like that more and more. The world is getting smaller every day so it’s getting harder to find locations where there’s no crowds of tourists and you can enjoy the beauty of nature just by yourself. I love Langkawi, so if you love it as well and are planning to get married there drop me an email – I would be honoured to come back to document your wedding on this amazing island.

Hi Mark
I’m a travel journalist in London and I’m writing a story on Langkawi for the in-flight magazine of Qatar Airways and I would love to interview you, if possible. It’s very straightforward – just a few questions over email (see below) and a headshot of yourself. Please let me know asap. Thanks, Nick
300 words on the island and why you love it so much. What makes it special? What are your favourite places, things to do, places to go and why? What surprises you about it? We need a nice mix of famous things and hidden places with detail – for example if you write about a restaurant or café, please describe it. How does it look, what’s the vibe? What kind of people go there and what do you always order? Please do not mention any bars.
Need around 30 words each for these. Each place needs to have a website.
Stay – the best hotel, preferably a new one or one that’s very special for some reason.
Eat – the restaurant that everyone is talking about and why. Please no mention of alcohol or pork.
Do – a gallery, museum or store that is very special.
Day/weekend trip
Where’s your favourite place to go as a day or weekend trip? What would you do there?
