I met Narinder and Petros few days ago for a quick chat and a short engagement session. We didn’t have any plans regarding location or the type of the photos we wanted. To be honest, when I woke up in the morning the weather was so bad I thought we won’t be able to take any photos at all. We met in Peter’s Yard – a Swedish cafe in Edinburgh, and after a much needed cup of coffee, we decided to face the elements and in the end got some really good looking shots. Not everything worked the way we wanted, as the park we were keen to use was closed for unknown reason. Thankfully it didn’t matter in the end – Narinder and Petros were such a lovely and easy to work couple, you could just photograph them anywhere, knowing the photos will be great anyway ( I have to mention Narinder’s sister at this point, who was there as well, and made them laugh every time I pointed the camera at them ).
Narinder and Petros are getting married in the amazing Melville Castle in Edinburgh – it’s such a great venue with the beautiful gardens that will look stunning in May. They are two fantastic people and I’m so proud and happy to be their wedding photographer – I simply can’t wait.

Such a relaxed feel to this shoot. Really love the B&W shots, especially the one against the wall and the one below it.
Love the romance. Great set.
Ohhh I am so in love with the wide black and white of them with the ivy wall.
