When it comes to unique wedding venues Lochnell Castle must be my number one. It’s a private property that was never before used as a wedding venue, and Sophie and Andrew were the first couple ever that got married there. You might find some wedding photos online from this amazing place, but they are actually from a film set, not from a real wedding. When Sophie got in touch with me last year and we started to talk about their plans, I knew straight away that their wedding will be fantastic. Stunning location, guests from all over UK and beyond, and a bride who’s a fashion designer. The fact that Sophie and Andrew wanted some photographs taken on the local beach, regardless of the weather, was an icing on the cake. I love couples who are not afraid to make an effort to get some stunning photographs. The day was fantastic and I couldn’t believe how quickly it finished. Everyone involved was great, a bunch very close fiends and families that get on so well with each other. The dance floor was bouncing, with some crazy routines and ceilidh dancing.
