I’ve just photographed the first wedding of the new 2019 season, but let’s got back to last year for a while. It’s been and incredible 12 months, you can see some of my best wedding photos from last year in one of the previous blogs, and it has definitely ended on the high. The last wedding I’ve shot in 2018 was Alexandra and AJ’s wedding in Tuscany. Set in a beautifully romantic Villa Cicolina in Montepulciano, a perfectly picturesque small town in Italy. I’ve been to this part of the world a few times before, never in October though. I had a sneaky feeling the autumn colours will be mind blowing, just my kind of warm tones. Let me tell you, Tuscany in October is incredible, the legions of tourists are long gone. In fact I was the only tourists around, hitting all the must see places the day before the wedding.
Let’s go back to me being the Tuscany wedding photographer though. In the end it was not the scenery, the venue, or the weather what made this day unique. It was a group of amazing people, who came all the way from US to this small town in Italy to celebrate this day in a special way. And special it was.
As always, I’m forever grateful for a chance to be there with my camera.
Big thanks to Dan Sauer, another Tuscany wedding photographer, for helping me on the day.
Incredible set Mark! It was a joy working along side you!
We were clearly in such good hands with you there. We often revisit our memories through your gorgeous photography. Thank you!
