Sometimes the words are not needed, sometimes the words are not enough. I always hope that my images are good enough to speak for themselves, and I’m quite often lucky to work with people and photograph the weddings that are hard to the describe if you’re not a professional writer. I’m far from that, and when I look back to Hollie and Mark’s wedding the words fail me. It was one big adventure and I will never forget it. I don’t often bring my wife to the weddings, but since we were engaged a couple of years ago in Mauritius we decided to have a little holiday around the wedding. Great times.
Hollie and Mark got married at the amazing Sugar Beach Resort, a beautiful place that regardless of it size offers a great the couples an intimate space for the wedding. To say it was extremely hot would be an understatement, but I guess that the kind of weather we were all hoping for. Describing it just with one sentence I would say it was a day full of laughs thanks to their friends and family that travelled from around the world.
Looking at this photos now I know for sure that this island is going to be a place that will always stay in my heart…and from that point of view I’m more than excited about going back there in a couple of months for another wedding in Mauritius.
